"VINYETTE is a band that brings much more to the table than the 'Ambient Rock' genre that it fits within. VINYETTE is inspired by the interconnection of being, the similarities and differences of experience and diversity of life. VINYETTE infuses many loves and arts to create not just music but a shared culture.

VINYETTE creates ultra progressive music that is ethereal, ambient, funky, tough and wild. The fat, torrential bass fits tight with fervently dynamic drums. Rhythm and lead guitars bend, sing and intertwine with seemingly effortless assembly. Euphoric electronic effects and synth dance on VINYETTE’s funky narrative rides. Poetically urgent and dreamlike vocals permeate to produce profound imagery and emotion. After one taste of these savory-sweet sounds, the mind shall always demand more of music.

VINYETTE recorded in Brooklyn and personally released their debut EP in 2009. The 4 hearty tracks on VINYETTE’s first venture into the studio hold testament to the band's versatility and originality.
